Indonesia and Malaysia are neighbor country. Both country
were independenced from European colonization. Indonesia freedom from the dutch
at 17 August 1945 and Malaysia freedom from United Kingdom at 31 September
1957.
Indonesia and Malaysia almost share the same history,
language, culture and tradition. Both county even have more common than
different, despite of similiarity in demographic and geographic.
But... today both people in Indonesia and Malaysia can easily
found in any internet source they arguing and debate each other. Especially
when there’s football competition, where Malaysia and Indonesia compete.
Indonesia and Malaysia always say the bad words one and
other. Sometime this condition also happen in video or article which is not
relevan for both country to arguing each other. Let say.. there’s video on
youtube where United Kingdom play football match against Poland. Some Indonesia
will comment like this “owh.. the Malaysian master play football” and Malaysian
will reply that comment by saying that Indonesian... bla bla bla....
This is make Indonesia and Malaysia look like very unique for
people in any other country. They wonder what actually happen between this two
country. Why they hate each other even they are relatively have a lot of
commons.
Here some reason that i think make Indonesian and Malaysian hate each other :
1. Superiority
Both Indonesia and Malaysia thought that their country more
superior than other country. Indonesia feel that they are more bigger, more
population and proudly have their pride over the way they reach freedom from
the Dutch. Because in Indonesian mindset... Malaysia gained independenced from
the British just by pitty of British.
But Malaysia see the matters from different side.. even more
Malaysia geoghraphicly more smaller than Indonesia, or even Malaysian
population than Indonesia but they have more advanced economic and education
compare to Indonesia.
And they reply that Malaysia gained independenced by clever
way (without bloody conflict). But yet they freedom.
Both country always feel more stronger in every part. That’s
make them always want to defeat each other. To show they have more power than
the other.
2. Rivalry
This is just usual thing happen in this world. Indonesia and
Malaysia have their own rivalry in every single part of life. Just the same as
North Korea and South Korea, United State and Mexico, China and Japan, India
and Pakistan or Serbia and Bosnia.
This rivalry situation make Indonesia and Malaysia will become
more sensitive in football match which is most popular sport for both country.

In some case... every football match between this two country
will always make new issues which bring more and more rivalry climate for both
country.
3. Only
Indonesia And Malaysia Understand How It Feel
Trust me.. Indonesia and Malaysia not really hate each other
like we can see in internet. Trust me they both love each other in unique way.
I can give some proof... let’s count, how many Indonesian worker (TKI) work at
Malaysia? The answer in unbelieveble.. there are 2,7 Million of Indonesian work
in Malaysia. And there are only small case of “discrimination” or “crime”
occurs in Malaysia.
If Indonesia really that have to Malaysia.. how come 2,7 million Indonesian people life in peace in Malaysia?
In Malaysia side.. you can see that Indonesian song is very
very popular in Malaysia. Let’s say “Surat Cinta Untuk Starla – Virgoun” or
“Lagi Cantik – Siti Badriah” . That’s two song for example can easily found in
Malaysia. And Malaysia love to listen Indonesian song very bad. If Malaysia
really that hate to Indonesia.. they will never listen any single Indonesian
song.
Conclusion
Actually Indonesia and Malaysia not really hate each other.
It’s just some Indonesian and Malaysian who don’t have good education whom hate
each other. But always... they just said the bad words in internet without
really meant it. They just like to see how others react to their bad words.
Without even mean to hurt each other.

country don’t really understand how it feel. But i believe.. majority of good
people in Indonesia and Malaysia love each other and respect each other because
of a lot of similiarity that they have.
Only small amount percentage Indonesian and Malaysian hate
each other. It’s not because they really hate.. it’s because they don’t really
know how to love any other country including their own neighbor.
Once again i tell you.. good Indonesian and good Malaysia
will always be brother and sisters and love each other... but bad Indonesian
and Malaysia always want this two country suffer because of hate that they
spread.
