Stop Blaming Yourself
Stop Blaming Yourself
Do you blame yourself? Maybe something that happened is not
your fault, but when someone else blames you for that, you become thoughtful
and feel guilty. Blaming yourself, especially for something that is not our
fault, very draining and wasting energy. Though energy should be stored to make
ourselves and our lives better.
Apologizing must be and is very necessary, what more when we
admit that we are wrong. After all, everyone must have made a mistake right?
Whether intentional or unintentional. However, there are some young people who
blame themselves too often, until they are prolonged and continue to judge
themselves and cannot forgive themselves.
The feeling of guilt is reasonable, but this feeling should
not be constantly thought about until it finally makes us stressed and haunted
by the shadows of the past. Because, one of the causes of a person being
depressed is this ... too judgmental of yourself for what has passed. As bitter
as your mistakes, you still have to be able to get up and slowly forget about
it.
In addition, blaming yourself and apologizing excessively can
indicate that you are less confident and weak. Other people will judge that you
are very afraid of the judgment of others, especially those who have been hurt
because of you. Other people will feel uncomfortable if you show your guilt too
much and continue to apologize.
Learn to be a strong person by showing behavior when you feel
guilty, immediately apologize, then get up and try to correct or by not
repeating the same mistake. Show that you deserve to be given a second chance
and deserve to be accepted again for the mistakes you have made.
Too blame yourself and regret doing things will only make
things worse and find no solution or way to make things better.
